The first phase of the CMA course, which is CMA Foundation, is the qualification stage for the students to enter the second stage. The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of India, or ICMAI, is the organisation that administers this national test. The CMA Foundation tests are administered by the ICMAI twice a year, in December and June. This exam is currently being administered offline.

CMA Foundation: Eligibility

The eligibility requirements for the ICMAI CMA Foundation must be known to the candidates. Before completing the form, candidates must make sure they meet the eligibility requirements. Below is a discussion of some of the significant qualifying requirements for your reference.

1. Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply. Other nationalities are not eligible.

2. The programme has no minimum age requirement.

4. Candidates must have graduated from a recognised board in class 12 with a minimum cumulative score of 50% or higher.

5. Those who have passed the National Council of Higher Education's Diploma in Rural Service Examination or any state board of technical education under the authority of the All India Council.

6. Candidates may also apply for provisional admission while they wait for their results.

 

Steps required for the registration of CMA Foundation Course

Every student needs to register themselves if they want to appear in the CMA Foundation exam. This can be done by candidates from the official site of ICMAI. After that students are required to follow the steps to fill out the CMA Foundation registration form.

1. Go to the ICMAI official website and select the CMA Foundation registration link.

2. After providing the requested information, click "Save" to proceed.

3. After clicking "Submit," upload the scanned copies of each of the necessary documents.

4. Next, use the online payment option to complete the payment for the relevant course.

 5. For later use, print off the registration form.
